So here I am in Egypt, and honestly, I don’t really know what to do next. I have to admit, I’m a bit bored. But hey, what matters is: I’ve already accomplished quite a lot. You can go ahead and give me a pat on the back. No, actually, don’t. Or I’ll throw you to the lions. Still, my achievements are impressive — anyone has to admit that.
Right now, I’m just wondering how far I should go.
At the moment, I’m staying with the Egyptian queen, Cleopatra. I have to say, I might have gotten a little too involved there. I even had a child with her — though he’s quite a handful. The real issue is that now I have to wage war in Egypt. And by the way: I did not burn down the Library of Alexandria. That has been proven.
But soon after, I had to return to Rome. A few wars and a couple of dead enemies later, I can now turn to greater things. But that’s still a secret 😉
Anyway, the sons of Pompey (who accidentally died in one of my wars) are no longer in my way. Everything has its upside.
As you can see, I was simply born to win. One of my campaigns only took five days. I’ll just say:
Veni – Vidi – Vici
I came, I saw, I conquered
